How can I match Palette Scout colors to hex codes, art supplies, yarn, fabric, etc.?

You can use our Matching Guides to match your favorite palettes to your favorite art supplies. Please note, not all Palette Scout colors have perfect matches to art supplies and vice versa.

Can I give the Color Theory 101 or the Color Matching Guides as a gift?

Yes! To gift digital products along with the Palette Scout deck, you can purchase the Bundle, gift your recipient the deck and let them know there will be digital products waiting for them in their account. After you tell your recipient (so we don't ruin the surprise!), email us at hello@zolliemakes.com with the gift recipient's email address. We will add them to the Course and/or Color Matching Guides to their account on our site. When they're ready, they just need to create an account on our site with that same email address and the Course and/or Guides will be there waiting for them.

I love playing with my new Palette Scout. Excellent tool for searching for new interesting palettes, for understanding palettes I already love... I encourage my family to play too, and they create unexpected wonderful palettes for me ! It's addictive. Maybe a pocket version one day, to carry everywhere in my pocket ?

Now that I’ve had just a bit to play with the cards, writing to say that I quite love them is easy! I use Gist Array for a lot of my weaving, so that gives me a bit of a head start, but I find the method of having pure color in the middle and shades and tones progressing on either side is quite intuitive to work (and play) with and whoever managed to arrange the colors both alphabetically and by rainbow order, my hat is off, it brings me joy! I have several other color card sets, but this has quickly become my go to.

Wonderful!

These cards are wonderful!! I am an artist, crafter, seamstress, decorator, ETC. And these cards are so helpful in my projects.
I have used paint swatches from the paint store, which are small and difficult to work with. Pallet Scout cards are perfect to create color pallets for my clothing outfits, for room design, Quilt design, selecting harmonious colors in a painting, even in choosing my exterior hour colors! I can even use them in creating my flower garden. The possibilities are endless.
